According to a recent report, the Houston Texans were going to draft Kellen Mond this year before the Minnesota Vikings took him off the board.
With their first selection in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings raised a few eyebrows when they used the pick on former Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond.
Mond is the first signal-caller to be selected by the Vikings in the first three rounds of a draft since they grabbed Teddy Bridgewater in 2014.
