Andre Patterson excited to have ‘best of both worlds’ with Vikings

The defensive line has been one of the most successful units of the Minnesota Vikings for many years running. Their ability to draft and develop some of the best pass rushers in the league and bring out the best in their ends and tackles has seemingly become a tradition for the purple and gold.

A lot of credit has to go to the talented players who have been on the defensive line but kudos also belong with Andre Patterson, who has been working with the unit since the 2014 NFL season to elevate the team’s talent.

Entering the 2020 NFL season, Patterson has been promoted to co-defensive coordinator with Adam Zimmer, which will allow the coach to not only perform coordinator duties but work with the players on the defensive line as well.
