Cousins is scheduled to hit free agency in about one week and can talk to any team in the league on March 11th when the NFL’s “legal tampering” phase begins. The 35-year-old could still re-sign with the Vikings — Minnesota claims to want him back, but their top-dollar cut-off price is unknown — and an extension would connect Cousins to the Vikings for a seventh season.
