EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings should have guard Alex Boone in their lineup on Monday night against the New York Giants.
Boone was a full participant in the Vikings' Saturday practice and wasn't given an injury designation on the team's final report, meaning he should be ready to return from a hip injury for Monday's game. Boone, who was limited on Friday after sitting out Thursday's practice, said he was feeling good, and coach Mike Zimmer said he expects Boone will return to the lineup.
Jeremiah Sirles, who did an impressive job in Boone's absence on Sunday in Carolina, would be in line to start if the guard had a setback, but the Vikings seem to be ready for Boone to play.
