Adrian Peterson hasn’t played a football game since week 1 of the 2014 season, and some folks are concerned all the time off will cause the running back to struggle at least early on.

Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner is not among those who think missing almost an entire season will adversely affect Peterson.
Speaking to KFAN’s Paul Allen Wednesday morning, Turner said Peterson’s native ability will help him overcome any rust that might be on his game after nearly an entire season on the shelf.

Peterson himself said in his press conference that he believes a year off will only help him because now he is incredibly fresh.
