Eden Prairie, MN (November 20, 2015) – Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson has been named the FedEx Ground Player of the Week after his performance in the Vikings 30-14 victory at Oakland last Sunday.
Peterson totaled 203 rushing yards on 26 attempts including an 80-yard rushing score to help seal the win. His 80-yard touchdown was the 18th career touchdown of 40 yards in the regular season, which ties an NFL record (RB Barry Sanders). He also tied an NFL record with his sixth game of 200 or more rushing yards (RB O.
