There is no more mystery about Adrian Peterson’s “illness” from Saturday. According to Fox, Peterson became sick when he accidentally swallowed chewing tobacco on the plane ride to the Detroit.
The clinical term for what happened to Peterson is “something gross went down his throat and he puked.” As a result of the puking, Peterson was downgraded to questionable for Sunday’s game.
Let me stress that this was an accidental swallowing of chewing tobacco caused apparently by turbulence.
Chewing tobacco on a plane during turbulence is apparently dangerous.
Peterson has suffered various mishaps during his time with the Vikings.
