MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Vikings have a 10-0 lead over the Kansas City Chiefs, and though they've got a 142-yard edge on the Chiefs, they've gotten most of their production without much of an output from Adrian Peterson.
Peterson carried 17 times for just 16 yards in the first half, fumbling once and losing three yards on his lone reception. Of those 15 carries, Peterson took 13 of them with Teddy Bridgewater under center, gaining 28 yards. His two shotgun carries lost 12 yards, and his only carry out of the pistol went for no gain. According to ESPN Stats and Information, Peterson's 17 carries are the third-most he's ever had in a first half, but the Vikings haven't been able to gash the Chiefs on the ground so far.
