Adrian Peterson became ill Saturday and was downgraded to questionable on the Vikings injury report.
Ahead of Sunday’s game vs. the Lions, Fox television reported the reason for Peterson’s illness.
According to the report, Peterson swallowed some chew during a bumpy plane ride and vomited.
No big deal as Peterson was able to recover in time to play, rushing for 98 yards on 19 carries vs. Detroit.
End of story no wait NOT end of story.
Because nothing is ever allowed to be simple when Adrian Peterson is involved, we now have an official denial of the swallowing chew story from Peterson himself.
