Adrian Peterson Chasing More Than 3rd Rushing Title

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Entering Sunday night’s regular season finale in Green Bay, Adrian Peterson leads the NFL in rushing with 1,418 yards.

That’s 64 more yards than Tampa Bay’s Doug Martin, who will play earlier in the day.

While the Vikings running back said he’d like to get the record, he’s more concerned with getting a win and capturing the NFC North championship when the Vikings (10-5) visit the Packers (10-5).

“(The rushing title) is not something I’m trying to focus on too much,” said Peterson, who led the league in rushing in 2008 and 2012.
