Adam Thielen had more than 100 yards receiving for the sixth consecutive game and caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins as the Vikings beat the Arizona Cardinals 27-17 at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday.
Thielen extended his Super Bowl-era NFL record for consecutive 100-yard games; the overall NFL record was set in 1961 when Charley Hennigan of the AFL’s Houston Oilers surpassed 100 yards receiving in seven straight games in 1961.
Latavius Murray, filling in for an injured Dalvin Cook, rushed for 155 yards and scored on a 21-yard run in the first quarter.
The Vikings (3-2-1) led 13-10 at halftime, but got Thielen’s touchdown and a 7-yard scored run from Cousins to take control in the third quarter.
