Adam Schefter: Vikings Have Chance at 'Great Season'

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. –

Schefter, who works out of Bristol, Connecticut, said he enjoyed being in the Twin Cities and the “brisk Minnesota air.”

Having worked as a Broncos beat reporter for 16 years before joining the national media, Schefter recalled the 1998 season in which Minnesota went 15-1 and fell just short of facing Denver in Super Bowl XXXIII.

“The Broncos did not want that Super Bowl,” Schefter told Vikings.com. “Everybody that year was terrified of playing the Vikings. That was as good an offensive team as you could ever see. It was dominant.
