The Minnesota Vikings had pretty decent depth at running back a season ago. Dalvin Cook was the starter with Latavius Murray being a more bruising type of runner and a nice change of pace as the backup. Cook was often injured and Murray had no problem toting the load when called upon.
Behind them were undrafted rookies Mike Boone and Roc Thomas. Boone ran with a physical style and Thomas was an excellent receiver out of the backfield.
What a difference a year makes as Murray has signed with the New Orleans Saints and Thomas has been arrested on marijuana-related charges.
