In his third year with the Minnesota Vikings, Kyle Sloter is currently fighting for a spot on the team’s final 2019 roster. Through two preseason games though, Sloter has earned more than just a roster spot with the Vikings this season.
During his time out on the field with Minnesota over the last two weeks, the young quarterback has completed 85 percent of his passes for 178 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions.
Despite his impressive play during the Vikings’ first two preseason matchups this year, he still isn’t being given a shot to compete for the team’s backup job behind Kirk Cousins.
