The date was 19 October 2003, and the Vikings were looking for their sixth consecutive victory as they faced the Denver Broncos at the Metrodome. The Vikings struck first on a 47-yard pass from Daunte Culpepper to Kelly Campbell, but the Broncos evened it up with a Clinton Portis touchdown run just after the two-minute warning to tie things at seven.
