The Vikings could have a playoff spot locked up before they take the field Sunday night against the New York Giants at TCF Bank Stadium.
Any one of three Sunday scenarios could get the Vikings (9-5) their first playoff berth since 2012: they beat the Giants; the Falcons (7-7) lose to Carolina in Atlanta; the Seawhawks (9-5) beat St. Louis in Seattle.
The Falcons' game starts at noon, and the Seahawks and Rams kick off at 3:25 p.m. So the Vikings could have at least a wild-card berth secured before they take the field against the Giants at 7:30 p.
