Before Friday, it didn’t seem like the Minnesota Vikings were going to have much money to work with this offseason to help them improve their roster.
But then the Vikings went and made the tough decisions to release Xavier Rhodes, Linval Joseph, and David Morgan on Friday. The moves freed up almost $20 million for Minnesota and they are now looking at having almost $21 million in cap space when free agency begins on March 18.
With a number of improvements that need to be made to their roster before next season, the Vikings could still be looking for other ways to free up more money before free agency starts.
