With only two weeks remaining in the 2018 NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings are looking to secure their place in the postseason. They can control their own destiny if the team can win both of their remaining games.
Week 16 pits the Vikings against a familiar foe. They will hit the road and visit the Detroit Lions, who are 5-9 on the season and currently reside in the cellar of the NFC North by a half a game margin.
Still, this is a game Minnesota must win in order to keep the momentum going from their massive victory over the Miami Dolphins last week and keep the lead in the race for one of the Wild Card spots in the playoffs since the Chicago Bears already have locked the NFC North title.
