With one of their two sixth-round selections in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings went back to the defensive side of the football with the selection of Penn State linebacker Kobe King.
Kobe and his twin brother, Kalen, both went to Penn State. Kalen left a year early and got drafted by Green Bay with the 255th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, so Kobe has already shown his wisdom by avoiding the state of Wisconsin. He has a very good run defense grade from the folks at Pro Football Focus and could, at the very least, provide some productivity on special teams if he can’t find his way into the defense right away.
