Thanks to a Charter Communications outage I was not able to follow the final rounds of the draft, but I’m informed that the Vikings selected DE B.J. DuBose with their second pick in the 6th round.
The 6-4, 284-pound DuBose played college ball at Louisville and comes to the NFL as a project player.
Rick Spielman spoke about DuBose’s versatility in his Saturday afternoon press conference:
In the sixth round, the second one was B.J. Dubose. He was another guy that’s a multi-position player. He can play end, when you watch him inside, he can rush a passer as an inside guy and has a three technique.
