EAGAN, Minn. – The 2018 NFL Draft is just around the corner.
Minnesota is currently slated to have eight selections in this year’s draft, starting with the 30th overall slot and also including a pair of compensatory picks in the sixth round.
There’s no guarantee the Vikings final number of draftees will stay at eight through the three-day process – General Manager Rick Spielman has garnered a reputation for wheeling-and-dealing during the draft, having accrued at least nine picks in five of the past six years.
After making moves in free agency, including the additions of QB Kirk Cousins and DT Sheldon Richardson, the Vikings will look to further bolster their roster through the draft.
