In the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings rolled the dice on Moritz Boehringer, a wide receiver out of Germany that some scouts have compared to Randy Moss.
Boehringer is the first German-born player ever to be drafted, and it just so happens that his favorite team is the Vikings. Boeringer initially became interested in football when he stumbled upon a YouTube video of Adrian Peterson in 2012, and four years later, he has made his way to the highest level in the game.
The 6'4'', 227-pound wideout blew away teams at a workout session, running the 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds, hitting 39 inches on his vertical jump and repping his own weight 17 times. While his NFL future is hard to predict given his lack of experience, he will be a very interesting prospect to follow at the next level.
This hype video, courtesy of YouTube user True To Football, will make you a believer in Boehringer being a star for the Vikes.
