Richardson visited the Vikings yesterday and Minnesota was determined not to let him leave without a deal.
The 6-foot-3, 294-pounder was seeking a long-term deal, yet this deal would indicate that he did not receive the kind of offers he was expecting on the open market.
Richardson spent the first four seasons of his career with the New York Jets before joining the Seattle Seahawks last season. He racked up 44 tackles with a sack and two fumble recoveries in 2017.
