The Minnesota Vikings are among the favorites to land wideout Duron Carter, son of Vikings great Cris Carter, according to NFL.com.
The talented CFL standout reportedly has whittled his choice down to a pair of finalists after also being courted by the Colts, Panthers, Chiefs, and Browns. He hasn't said who the finalists are, but it's widely assumed it's the Vikings and Colts.
Carter, who can't sign with a team until Feb. 10, is leaning towards the Colts because of quarterback Andrew Luck and a wide-open passing attack that offers wideouts a genuine shot to put up big numbers.
Carter has dealt with off-the-field problems, but his 1,939 receiving yards over two CFL seasons have NFL teams intrigued..
