The NFL has yet to take action under the league's personal conduct policy regarding Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, meaning that Peterson's playing status for Sunday could very well hinge on the ruling of arbitrator Shyam Das on the grievance dispute regarding Peterson's continued position on the Commissioner-Exempt list.
According to Mike Florio of NBC's Pro Football Talk, "Das conducted a hearing on Monday regarding the effort to reinstate Vikings running back Adrian Peterson from the Commissioner-Exempt list. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the hearing was conducted and fully completed on Monday."
Per rule, Das' ruling has to be submitted by Saturday, November 22nd. However, according to a league source cited by Florio, that ruling is likely to be handed down in the next two days.
With the league failing to expedite a judgment under its personal conduct policy, it's possible that Peterson, the NFLPA, and the NFL are engaged in talks attempting to hash out a resolution regarding Peterson's playing status for the remainder of the 2014 NFL season.
