Minnesota Vikings rumors are now shifting to the offensive side of the ball, after the Vikings made great strides via free agency to improve one of NFL's worst defenses in 2013.
The biggest question on most Vikings fans' lips (and Twitter accounts)--who will the Minnesota Vikings tab as their quarterback of the future going forward?
According to Fresno Bee columnist Marek Warszawski, the Vikings may be feeling out former Fresno State Bulldogs quarterback Derek Carr as the man for the job--

CBS Sports currently has the Minnesota Vikings picking Carr with the #8 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, even though several insider sources believe that Carr's stock has risen to such a level that he may not even be available by the time the Vikings are on the clock.
Vikings general manager Rick Spielman may be reticent to put the future of the franchise (and his job) on the line by drafting a quarterback so high.
Many consider the Vikings' decision to draft Christian Ponder with the 12th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft as a unequivocal bust, leading to speculation that Spielman may not be willing to put his faith in a quarterback that high in the draft once again.
Derek Carr led the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision in 2013 in both completions (454) and passing yards (5,083). His 68.2% career collegiate pass completion percentage ranks him first all-time in the history of the Mountain West Conference.
