I continue my Preseason Catch-Up Extravaganza© with a tribute to my favorite player of all-time: the recently retired Randy Moss.
Randy Moss was the most exciting player in NFL history and no one will be able to convince me otherwise. He is most likely the reason why I came to adore football. That kind of ability, in which pure talent triumphed over hard work was like music to my young ears. A football player that had to work and struggle and push himself into the limelight was C-SPAN boring compared to a supernova like Moss. I worshiped him. I had a Randy Moss action figure, I drew his picture, his #84 in purple was my most prized possession. My dad once got me a Vikings jacket for Christmas, and the tag read "from Randy Moss." He was a once-in-a-lifetime player.
