Who will have a breakout season for the Minnesota Vikings in 2018? There are a lot of Vikings rumors swirling around Minnesota with the big time moves the team has made this offseason. If the Vikings want to win a Super Bowl in 2018, they will need some of their key players to step up. Here are three players that could have a breakout season for the Vikings in 2018:

1) Dalvin Cook, RB
Cook was on pace to have a breakout rookie season before suffering an ACL tear Week 4 of the season. He carried the ball 74 times for 354 yards and two touchdowns while adding another 11 catches for 90 yards as a receiver. The multi-dimensional running back will thrive in the Vikings new high powered offense and it will lead to a breakout year for Cook.
2) Stefon Diggs, WR
Diggs has been solid his first three years in the NFL but hasn't put it together for a full 16 games. He has yet to surpass 85 catches, 1,000 yards, and double-digit touchdowns. Diggs' skill set will match up perfectly with Cousins and if Diggs can get around 125 targets from Cousins in 2018, he will have a breakout year.
3) Laquon Treadwell, WR
Treadwell was selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, but hasn't lived up to the draft selection thus far. The third year is known as the "breakout" year for wide receivers so will this be the year Treadwell emerges as one of the best young receivers in the league? Last season Treadwell had 20 receptions for 200 yards. This will be a prove it year for Treadwell because if he can't get it done with a quarterback like Kirk Cousins who loves to spread the ball around, I'm not sure it will ever happen for the former Ole Miss Rebel.
