The Vikings rumors are growing around who Minnesota will select in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. The Minnesota Vikings have the 30th overall pick in the draft and after finishing 13-3 last season. Minnesota doesn't have many glaring holes that need to be addressed, but if they want to make that next leap forward, they will need to draft a solid player who can contribute right away. 1.) Taven Bryan, DT, Florida Gators
The Vikings have a major need at defensive tackle, which is the direction they're expected to go with their first-round pick. A player with the athleticism and versatility of Bryan will peak their interest. At 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds, he may be best as a 3-4 end but can play anywhere thanks to his strength and quickness.
2.) Carlton Davis, CB, Auburn
Terrance Newman can't play forever (we don't think) and even though Mackensie Alexander could see a bigger role next year, this is a group that needs to add depth. Enter Davis, who is a starting-caliber cornerback who figures to be available late in the first round.
3.) Isaiah Wynn, OG, Georgia Bulldogs
Minnesota would also like to sure up the offensive line particularly the guard spots. Wynn was one of the keys to Georgia's dominant rushing attack and should start right away at the NFL level. He's also big enough to play tackle if need be, which is never a bad thing especially for a team who just invested $84 million in a quarterback.
