Women in the Park Nature Walk

This past Saturday, broadcaster Kyndra de St. Aubin joined women for the Women’s Walk with the DNR at Fort Snelling Regional Park. The group went on a nature hike in the 19° weather, walking along the Minnesota River and doing the “Minnesota shuffle” so as not to slip on the ice along the path.

“I do them about once every other month. And then every month, I do something with my women’s program,” explained Lead Interpretive Naturalist Krista Jensen. “If it’s not a hike, it’ll be a skill-building activity, reaffirming all these wonderful things we can do in state parks, and just in general outside.
