Three Minnesotans on Hall of Fame Ballot

Three Minnesotans are on the ballot for the National Soccer Hall of Fame Class of 2017. Tony Sanneh, Taylor Twellman and Briana Scurry are among the 33 names to be nominated for this lifetime career honor. Scurry is one of seven women on the ballot.

Tony Sanneh started his career with D.C. United in May 1996, tallying four goals and eight assists in 25 games to finish fourth on the team in scoring. He moved to Germany following the 1998 MLS season and helped Hertha Berlin qualify for the Champions League. Sanneh returned to MLS in August 2004 with the Columbus Crew.
