Recap: Lucky, plucky Loons hold on for first draw of season against SKC

Minnesota United’s lineup was fairly expected. Collin Martin picked up his second start of the year due to Ibson’s thigh injury. Alex Kapp was also named to the bench for the second game in a row because of a knee injury to Matt Lampson. Abu Danladi was healthy enough to be back in the matchday squad.

The Loons almost had a dream start to the match. Christian Ramirez managed to poke a cross into the net, but the goal was disallowed due to offside despite a deflection off of Sporting’s Matt Besler.
