Coming off a 2-0 win over Houston just seven days ago, Minnesota United looked to keep that momentum going. With a five match unbeaten streak under their belts the Loons looked to move that to six and even possibly take their first win against the LA Galaxy.
This was made harder as the Loons lost Robin Lod to injury during training earlier in the week. Also coming into this match MNUFC has waived Ramón Ábila, who has now signed with DC United, but acquired $75K in allocation money for the rights to Jose Aja, who is not playing in MLS this year.
