Due to unexpected demand, the Minnesota United Development Academy will conduct a supplementary placement trial for players in the U11 (2008) and U12 (2007) age groups for those players who were unable to attend the first round and players who recently found out about the program. This will determine player placement within the Pre-Development Academy (Pre-DA) program. The Pre-DA is a supplemental player development program, as the players remain registered with their home clubs for team training and games. No players are cut at these age groups but are evaluated for placement within the Pre-DA program.
“As we begin the second year of participation in US Soccer Development Academy and MLS Generation adidas competition, we look forward to the addition of the U15 team as well as the expansion of programming for Pre-Development Academy age groups,” said Tim Carter, MNUFC Academy Director.
