Following a dominant 4-0 drubbing of D.C. United, two Minnesota United players – midfielder Kevin Molino and defender Jerome Thiesson – have earned a spot in the MLS Team of the Week for Week 21.
A beautiful pair of assists in the first half earned Molino a place in the squad for the second time this season. He last made the Team of the Week with a spot on the bench back in Week 7.
This is Thiesson’s first time being honored in the Team of the Week. He was a big part of the Loons chance creation on offense and helped the squad keep a clean sheet for the fifth time this season.
