MLS today announced that the Minnesota United match at Sporting Kansas City originally scheduled for Sunday, November 1 at Children’s Mercy Park has been canceled.
After confirming one case on Wednesday, a second Minnesota United player was today confirmed positive for COVID-19. Due to the limited number of match dates available prior to Decision Day presented by AT&T, the match will not be rescheduled.
Additionally, the San Jose Earthquakes vs. Los Angeles Football Club match scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 1 has been postponed. Earlier this week, LAFC announced three positive cases of COVID-19 among their player group.
