Minnesota United has added U.S. youth international forward Brandon Allen to its MLS roster. He comes to MNUFC on loan from New York Red Bulls. Allen has spent much of his career with New York Red Bulls II in USL.
Allen came up through the Red Bulls Academy and was a standout player in college, starting all four years at Georgetown. While at Georgetown, he racked up 50 goals and 17 assists in 91 appearances, making him the highest-scoring player in school history. He was a three-time All-American, three-time All-Big East first team member, and was nominated for the MAC Hermann Trophy in 2015 when he helped the Hoyas to the Big East regular season and playoff championships.
