The MNUFC Development Academy U13 and U14 teams followed up their trip to the Chicagoland area for matches against Sockers FC with a weekend at home in Blaine playing host to two Ohio clubs: Crew SC Academy on Saturday, September 30 and Internationals on Sunday, October 1.

The Loons fell behind early in this one when Crew SC was awarded a penalty kick in the ninth minute of the match. Owen Presthus scored the goal and Rashad Suhaiba doubled the lead off a through ball he took around the keeper in the 22nd minute.
