With the MLS summer transfer window now open, Minnesota United wasted little time announcing its latest signing, making official the capture of former Hearts winger Sam Nicholson.
Nicholson had been linked with United for much of the spring, and with his Hearts contract having expired, he arrives on a free transfer, pending receipt of his ITC and work visa.
"We are really pleased to have added a player with the skill-set of Sam," said Minnesota manager Adrian Heath via a club statement.
"He's a player who can cut inside from either side of the pitch. He's got two really good feet and he's got some goals in him, he can beat his man.
