Defender Eric Miller earns his first award with MNUFC as he is featured in the MLS Team of the Week for Week 33. The Woodbury native was a threat on both ends of the field during the Loons’ home game against Colorado Rapids this weekend.
He played the wingback role once again for MNUFC, charging up the right side throughout the match. Miller was one of the favorite targets of playmaker Darwin Quintero, as the two connected through gaps in the Rapids’ defense many times. The defender was successful at stymieing several Rapids attacks with three big tackles and a massive clearance off the goal line early in the first half.
