Matt Lampson Visits Children’s MN

Minnesota United goalkeeper and cancer survivor Matt Lampson visited Children's Minnesota on Monday and spent the afternoon on the pediatric cancer floor. He played video games, colored with patients and visiting the rooms of kids who weren’t feeling up to leaving their rooms that day.

This was the first of many planned visits for Lampson this year. He founded the LampStrong Foundation to provide difference-making financial, emotional and motivational support to cancer patients and families in all the stages of cancer treatment and recovery and will carry on his work here in the Twin Cities after coming over from the Chicago Fire in the offseason.
