Following an unbeaten homestand at Allianz Field, Minnesota United headed out on the road to take on regional rival Chicago Fire, featuring former MNUFC captain Francisco Calvo. On a cold and wet night in the Windy City, the home side came out with a blistering attack that propelled them to an early lead. The Loons failed to find a rhythm offensively and would suffer a 2-0 defeat to the Fire.
