Coming off of a 1-0 victory of DC United, Minnesota United returned to training Tuesday morning. The team practiced on their outdoor grass field on a chilly morning as light rain fell. As per usual, the starting 11 from the weekend match were excused early. Most went inside while a group of four played soccer tennis.
Darwin Quintero was absent from the outdoor session with an ankle injury sustained over the weekend. He exited the match Sunday shortly after receiving a cortisone injection at halftime. Adrian Heath told the media that the Colombian’s ankle injury is “better than we thought” and that he had a light workout inside.
