Minnesota United have some desperately needed reinforcement on the way in the form of an in-demand winger.
ESPN is reporting that Minnesota United have finally agreed to terms with Sam Nicholson, a key milestone for talks that have gone on and off for weeks even as the lack of depth in Minnesota has shown.
According to the report, the club gave Nicholson a two-year deal, making him a Loon through 2019.
Most encouraging is a line in the report that says MNUFC will not need to rely on allocation money to “buy down” his salary.
