Darwin Quintero Added to Roster for MLS All-Star Game

Major League Soccer and Minnesota United today announced that Loons leading scorer Darwin Quintero will feature in the MLS All-Star squad to face Juventus in the 2018 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target. Quintero and New York Red Bulls midfielder Tyler Adams have been selected by MLS All-Star Head Coach Gerardo “Tata” Martino to replace LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic and New York City FC forward David Villa. The match will take place at Atlanta United’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on August 1 at 6:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ESPN, UniMás, TSN and TVA Sports.

Quintero was transferred to MNUFC from Club América of Liga MX as the first Designated Player in club history on March 31 and hasn’t looked back since.
