Forward Madison midfielder Ally Hamis Ng’Anzi earned a call up to the Tanzanian National Team for World Cup qualifiers against Burundi on Sept. 4 and 8, becoming the first ever FMFC player to earn a national team call-up.
The 18-year old midfielder, who is on loan for the season from Minnesota United, had previously played for the Tanzanian youth teams will get a chance to earn his first cap for the senior side.
Ng’Anzi, has played in four games for Forward Madison this season, earning his first start in USL League One in June and impressing head coach Daryl Shore in the process.
