Walker leads Scottsdale to Fall League title

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- When Scottsdale needed a big hit, Adam Brett Walker was there to provide it.

Walker, ranked as the No. 10 prospect in Minnesota's organization by MLBPipeline.com, came through in a big way on a big stage Saturday, when he delivered an RBI hit in the fourth inning and a two-run double in the eighth to lead Scottsdale to a 6-4 win over Surprise in the Arizona Fall League's title game.

Walker, who hit 31 home runs during the regular season for Double-A Chattanooga, helped break open a tense game that was defined by its defense.
