Twins manager Paul Molitor tweaked his lineup for the first time in his young managerial career, moving Torii Hunter from fourth to second and Brian Dozier from second to fourth.
Twins General Manager Terry Ryan was all for the adjustment.
``We’re trying to jump start this offense,’’ Ryan said.
One way to make your offense look better is to pitch better, and with Kyle Gibson weaving his way through a good Royals lineup on Wednesday, it wouldn’t take much scoring to win.
Thanks to Oswaldo Arcia’s two run home run, the Twins won 3-1 and vanquished baseball’s lone undefeated team.
