At time of the postponement, Minnesota sat 1.5 games back of Houston for the second Wild Card spot in the American League. Cleveland, still mathematically alive, sat five games back of Houston. Any combination of Indians losses and Houston victories adding up to two over the rest of the season would officially eliminate the Indians from postseason contention.
Tickets for Tuesday's game are good for both games of Wednesday's doubleheader, and gates will open at 3:30 p.m. ET. Fans can visit the Progressive Field ticket office on Wednesday to exchange their Sept. 29 ticket for a Sept.
