BALTIMORE --There are sweeps, and then there are devastating sweeps.
The Twins pinned one of the latter on the highly regarded Baltimore Orioles here this weekend, completing the four-game statement Sunday afternoon at Camden Yards with a 4-3 win that took 12 innings.
A pair of Orioles errors with Brian Matusz (1-3) on the mound paved the way for the Twins' first season series sweep against the Orioles since 2007.
First, Eduardo Escobar raced all the way to second when his one-out chopper went under the glove of Manny Machado, who had moved from third to shortstop to start the inning.
